On February 16, 1983 equestrians from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and Wisconsin interested in establishing a local show circuit, met at the Dickinson Inn in Iron Mountain, Michigan. After discussing the merits of such an organization, officers were elected and a meeting date and place set for the first director’s meeting.
The T.C.H.A. was organized primarily to provide more recreation for equestrians, to promote better horses and equestrians, and increase interest in shows and gymkhanas.
The officers and directors of T.C.H.A. take this opportunity to express their sincere appreciation for those who helped to make this association possible.
We will be having a work bee at the fairgrounds Thursday, June 15th at 6:00pm. Our next meeting will be Thursday, July 6th at 7:00 PM at the Iron Mountain Library.
